Not a baker. What makes them stick together and not fall apart?

The banana makes them stick together. I am a baker and have made many recipes using banana. These sound like they will be good. I am going to give it a try.

Really good ideas here. But I can't eat just one cookie, so 50 calories would turn into...something not pretty. :ohwell:

I made them with peanut butter instead of chocolate chips. I thought they were wonderful! Thanks,op, for offering an alternative healthier cookie!

    Edit to add this:
You will not like them if you do not like banana.

Those crunchy type prepackaged chocolate chip cookies are low cal in my opinion. The brand I buy is "home kist" at walmart, because they are like .98 cents for 15 cookies, not made in a factory with peanuts, 70 cals per cookie.

If I bake the cookies, I'm in trouble. Soft home baked goods are a serious binge food for me, and I try to stay away from baking because of that.

Oreo cookies are 45 calories each.

    Just saying.
According to the MFP data base, its 160 calories for three cookies which works out to 53 calories per cookie, but still Oreos!! For 50 calories each! *runs to the store for cookies*
