Hey guys, I've been weight lifting since last year January, and in the first 5 months, I constantly lost weight. When I stopped, I went on a bulk and had the WORST time of my life, physically and emotionally, so I went on a cut and lost the weight I gained. Ever since then, my weight has not changed, no matter what I eat or do!
I increased my calories to at least 1,650 (number I calculated to be my bmr) but still no gain or lost. If I eat more, I still maintain; if I eat less, I still maintain! My strength hasn't been compromised, but I haven't lost weight or fat! (I tend to take my measurements more than than checking the scale)
I train 4 days a week, about 70mins each workout, and light cardio (20mins)
Anyway! What advice do you guys have?

More cardio. That's what cut cycles are centered around. Do some reading.Doing 20 min of cardio (200 cals) and whatever weight lifting is going to be very slow progess. Most people aim to achieve much higher cardio burns when cutting and they only do their weight lifting program to maintain what they currently have, so their muscles don't deteriorate.0

I'm starting swim and aiming for at least 3 days a week for around an hour. Should I also increase my walking cardio to more than 20mins? I can't run as my knee hurts sometimes from overdoing my squats lol
Im semi-new to cardio and how long I should do them as in the past I could barely walk nonstop for 10mins, so in the process of increasing that0 -

Have you changed your weight lifting routine? Are you increasing weight? What are your lifts, reps, sets, weight, etc.0

Are you weighing all your food? How are your measuring calories burned? Are you eating them back?0

I weigh my food everyday and track my calories and macros
Currently, I'm eating around 1700, with 120g protein, 55g fat and rest into 168g carbs.
I don't track how much I burn in a day and don't want back my calories. Could I just not be eating enough? I already find it difficult to eat my current caloric goal due to my work schedule
As ffor my weight lifting, I do 5x5 for squats (95lb), deadlifts (95lb), barbell bench press (stuck at 65lb) and assisted pull ups (70lb)
The isolated movements iI generally do 3x10-15 depending on weight and muscle group.
I haven't changed my routine since last September, when I started incorporating 5x5 compound moves. I constantly break my 1RM and am able to increase the amount of weight I do, except on barbell bench press.0 -
Do you take rest days? I know this shouldn't stall you long term, but excess cortisol from over training can cause water retention and mask loss. How long Have you been stalled since intaking 1700? Do you consistently eat at 1700? I would keep a steady caloric amount to pinpoint intake. Then, you can adjust after a few weeks.0

Yes, I take at least 3 rest days and I have been stuck since last October. I haven't changed my caloric intake since then, because for 2 months, I was losing weight.0
