Always over fat goal for day?

I do not eat processed foods. My diet consists of lots of proteins at mealtimes, with many nuts (almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds), avocados, olive oil, etc. I know they are 'good fats' but is this sabotaging my weight loss? Because by lunchtime, I am already 17 g of fat over my daily goal (which is 40g.) No hate please.

Going over your dietary fat macro, while in a caloric deficit, will NOT harm your weight loss in any way. Dietary fat is healthy.0

What's your total calorie goal for the day? Could you possibly be aiming too low for your fat intake goal of 40g? I'm just wondering since mine (on lower days) is around 80g and I don't do processed foods either. (Okay, about 1-2x a week I'll have something not so great lol)0

My calorie goal is 1200. I am very short and meant to have a small body size, I would say I only have about 25-30lbs to lose.
I'm not sure how to change my fat intake goal!0
