Yoga - cardio?

Why is yoga on mfp as cardio rather than strength? And, is there any way to change the category? I can't create a new exercise because # reps, is required and that doesn't apply to yoga.

I think everything is listed in cardio as a way to track calories burned. I log stuff like that as cardio and then just manually change the calories burned to 10

I'd say that you can perform cardio exercises through yoga. Some yoga exercises require a lot of effort. I don't exactly remember, but I think I read somewhere about the count of calories lost through those exercises.0

Yoga isn't necessarily cardio - though some styles can be - but they all burn calories; just some styles more than others.
Personally, I have set up my own Yoga styles according to how hard the session was (calorifically speaking) and enter the nearest one - 200 per hour for a general yoga session, 300 per hour for my Ashtanga class. These calorie counts seem to work for me.0
