Starting weight

Hi guys. So I brought myself a dumbbell set that goes up to 15kg. I know this is 'light', but I have never lifted weights before but I plan to bump up as I get stronger.
I am currently doing Fitness Blender workouts but I have no idea how much weight to start with. I also don't know how long I should lift a particular weight before I add more. Any help would be much appreciated

It varies depending on the exercise, and of course how strong you are. Just choose a weight that you would perceive as "somewhat heavy" after several repetitions. If it's not somewhat heavy by the end of the set, use more weight. Good form is more important than using heavy weight when starting out.0
