Sore Breast

Hello All, this post might be a bit to TMI however I have a question.

I recently started T25 and I love it. However I can only do it two weeks out of a month because of all the jumping around. The rest of the time my body starts preparing for my monthly and my breast start to swell and hurt really bad:grumble: . It hurts just to walk around at work. I have tried wearing two bras, getting the no bounce bras and wearing them with a regular bra. Its No Bueno!!

I have contacted my OBGYN for help but until we figure it out I was wondering has anyone else had this problem and what did you do to correct it?

I want to get this weight off but if it hurts to walk then it really hurts to jump up an down with T25.

Any help or advice or suggestions are welcome.

:ohwell: The only time that ever happened to me was post childbirth during milk let-down  I'm hard pressed to think of anything that was worse.

My boobies used to hurt when I cycled but since changing my diet, I don't even get cramps anymore. I expect some Ibuprofen or some such anti inflammatory otc med might help :flowerforyou:

I have tried medication like Ibuprofen and it doesn't take the pain away enought to be able to exercise. It seems I have tried everything.

The same problem! Well, if it gets really bad- painkiller and water pill. But since changing my diet it's got better.

But It has been so bad, that I had to stay at home.....in bed....

I don't have to stay in bed just yet but it does hurt to turn over in bed without something pressed against my breast. I hate this so much. I am checking into birth control to see if it will help. Just waiting on my OBGYN to call me back. I have to get this under control and quick or I will never get this weight off.

Sorry to hear about the challenge you're facing!
Sounds like you're doing the right things in terms of looking for a solution. Please be careful with painkillers prior to exercise - you can mask other forms of pain that can lead to injury. It won't happen automatically or all the time, but it could cause a problem.

In the meantime, have you tried other forms of exercise that involve less jumping around? Cycling, or spin classes are great TOUGH workouts if you push yourself. Lifting at the gym would be great too. Fast walks could also work.

I'm sure some other folks here have other suggestions too.

    DON'T GIVE UP!!! :O)

I am glad you are going to the doctor about this. I'm not sure if that much pain is normal from a workout. My girls are pretty big and get jostled around a lot when I try and jog, but they don't really hurt afterward. See if you can get a mammogram done to ensure nothing is going on, and than maybe she can give you some ideas on either keeping them from getting too painful, or maybe doing a different workout.

    @ Keepcalmanddo

Its not from my workouts its from my body preparing for my monthly. They start to swell two and a half weeks prior to my monthly. They begin to hurt really bad. So I can only exercise two weeks out of a month. Before they start to swell and hurt.
