Hello MFP!!
There isn't a thread that I think this topic really fits into, so I picked this one. I have an odd question for the ladies who style their hair everyday... I am starting to workout everyday and because of that, I get very sweaty, so my hair is soaked by the time I'm through... My question is, how do you ladies keep from damaging your hair if you have to blow dry and straighten your hair like I do everyday? I don't have the type of hair that can be left natural without looking like a hot mess... Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Kimberlie

I have to admit, I got really lazy with my hair lately - barely brush it after a shower. Just twist it up and clip it into a coil. Wet.
Or braid it. Only problem with that is all the waves it gives me the next day.
I also found (for my hair) the leave-in conditioner spray from fructis seems to work quite well - i mainly got it to untangle my hair, but considering I cut my hair only about once a year, it's holding up really well. Can't believe they've doubled the price of it though. (Grumble).0 -
I use Rusk Thermal Serum so I don't damage my hair with all the heat and then deep condition once a week. And I use either a curling iron or a flat iron all the time and this regimen seems to have been protecting my super fragile hair from turning to crispy-fried critters. I just wish there was an antiperspirant for MY HEAD!!! Seriously, working out and getting soaking wet after trying to get all pretty is....ugh!:laugh:0

If I'm in a rush, I'll use dry shampoo and skip washing my hair. It depends on how it looks, though. If it still looks really sweaty with the dry shampoo, I'll wash it, spray leave in conditioner and air dry it.0

Ooh I can asnwer this one! Once to a couple of times a week add a little bit of conditioner to your hair, focusing on the ends when it's towel dryed and style as normal. My hair is super thick and curly so around once a week I'll also put conditioner on the ends when my hair's dry before bed and wash it out as normal in the morning......Hope that helps!0
