running for beginners

Has anyone done a running for beginners type thing? I am looking for a program I can use to start running and there are so many different things that pop up I don't really know which one would work. Its been like 5 years and 30 less lbs since I properly ran so I don't want to just start out full force and end up hurting myself.

I am okay to run and work out so this is doctor approved.
