REAL question about ladies and pull-ups

This is a question for a the ladies who do pull-ups. Or just one pull-up. Or the ladies who are using the pull-up assist band. Or a chair. Or who just hang there as long as they can.
It's also a question for the ladies who lift all the heavy things. And you, over there? On the resistance training machines because you haven't quite worked up the courage for free weights? It's a question for you, too.
And you ladies there, the ones using the 5 lbs weights, the ones doing the push-ups on their knees or against a wall, the ones doing the total body workout videos with soup cans because the 3 lb weights are still too heavy…
Has anyone told you today?

I may be benching over a hundred pounds now, but there was a time when I could not even raise my arms above shoulder height to wash my own hair.

I do wall push-ups! My wrists can't handle floor push-ups (and even if they could, I still couldn't do them). But at the gym there a wall with a little ledge that's between my belly-button and my chest (height-wise) and I do my push-ups there. I can really feel it in my triceps, so I know I'm doing them correctly.0

Thanks - you're awesome too :flowerforyou:
I'm still trying to make myself start lifting.... I think I'm scared of screwing up form.... But I'm immensely proud of the fact that I can now do many full, on the toe push-ups. And hold plank for 2 minutes. And someday, I'll do 1 dang pull-up. But I needed this reminder to be proud of where I am now vs upset about how far I still need to go :smooched:0 -
Gaining strength is one of the biggest highs there is. Keep pushing for YOUR best!0
