Anyone else get really motivated by seeing really fit people at the gym? I have heard a lot of people say they DON'T like going to the gym because of all the fit people, it makes them feel insecure. Its the opposite for me, it drives me to become like them! Is it because I'm a guy? Do women feel the same? This is so random I know but I was just wondering

I get motivated by the people in the weight room.
Because the bikes overlook the weight area.
And I love laughing to myself and watching all the people down there do two reps, flex, then stare at themselves in the mirror as they slowly walk to the next station to just stand at it.0 -
Hahah definitely. In a fitness class like BodyCombat there's gonna be a handful of participants really giving it all they got. The class is always more enjoyable when I'm behind or beside one such person.0

Haha, it makes me forget I'm on the bikes for a bit!
And I agree! I'm gonna take advantage of that when I start lifting, and get those people to give me some tips.0 -
