Does this sound like a good plan? :3

I'v pretty much struggled with weight all my life. I'm 5'5, and I'v weighed 210-220 for the last two years. It just never really seems to move from that range. While I don't feel unhealthy (I can still run a good distance/walk just fine, no pain etc) I just really want this weight gone for personal reasons <3 My family is very.. broke, and has been for the last three years. We buy what ever food we can afford, and have one meal a day (Or one ORGANIZED meal, we eat other meals separate. Each person usually eats something different.) These meals are hardly ever healthy. Things fried and soaked in grease. I also suffer from a lot of stomach aches, but I'v tried skipping these meals, and instead making my own dinner, such as grilled or baked chicken/meat, and these stomach aches have gone down quite a bit. I also live in a tiny town, and the closest down is ten minutes away. So there's no option for a gym, or any other type of activity. I'v decided to try and cut down my calories (i found out I was eating WAY to many by logging calories one day.) I'm used to drinking soda, but now i'v cut back on it dramatically, and instead have been getting in large cups of water. I don't get out much, because again, small town, and I'm not exactly a popular person around here. (Very antisocial ^^; ) So it's not like I'm being called every ten minutes, being asked to go somewhere.

So, I'm going to have to attempt this entirely on my own. I'm pretty confident in myself, so that should count for something, right? Since I'm limited on space even (my bed room at night after my family is asleep. I'm a night owl, and I feel most comfortable working out at night. ^^) I was wondering, if anyone thinks this sounds like a good plan/workout? So far i'v been doing:

Squats
Push-ups (I can't do a full floor push up yet, so i'v been using my bed frame. A little over a foot from the floor.)
Crunches
30 day Plank Challenge

I do as many of these as I can while holding proper form. If I start slacking, I quit that exercise, and go to the next. I tried adding lunges, but I found out I have awful balance, and can't do them properly... at all. x3

So, any input? Anything anyone things I should add? Any feed back is greatly appreciated <3

Thanks for stopping by. :3

Good first steps. Continue cutting soda and other useless calories that don't have nutritional value. Cut out processed foods and incorporate more fruits/vegetables. Luckily it seems like you don't dine out too often, and cooking at home is much healthier so that's a plus. Keep increasing your water intake.

Consider adding cardio to your routine and more body weight exercises- squats are great but without weight they won't do much.
Is your goal more towards fitness, health, increased endurance/flexibility, strictly weight loss, or a combination of the above? Additional info here will allow others to provide you with better advice.

Consider checking out a workout dvd from the library or on YouTube for workouts, too.

Its a great plan. We all just sort of do the best we can with what we have.

The only two big things you might want to add to the workout would be dips (can use a chair or a few books or bed frame) and if you can find a pull up bar to go in a door frame for a few bucks, pull ups.

Also get out and walk / run whenever you can since it helps burn some calories for you too.

As much as you can try to get some healthy food in there. You just need to eat fewer calories to lose weight but if you can add some veggies and lean meats you'll probably feel better and workout harder.

    Anyway, good luck!

Sounds great. There's also lots of youtube videos out there for body weight exercises or cardio stuff if you're interested. May not fit well with the exercising after midnight plan but who knows

We rarely eat out. Only on special events like birthdays. :) I'm just aiming more to increase my health, and become, eh, fitter. I'v watched quite a few dvds, all of which required what seemed like a home gym, so I skipped those. xD I'll look at youtube though, for sure. ^^

    I don't agree with this.

Cutting out the foods you like isn't necessarily a good idea...having them in moderation is better.

The exercises are good...bodyweight resistence training does wonders...even squats...(I have pics to prove that too) and cardio is fine if you like it but if you don't...don't add it...

If and when you want to increase there are lots of ways such as fitnessblender.com...free online workouts you can search through, consider adding in more resistence to the existing exercises such as resistence bands, kettle balls or even hand held dumbells.

If at some point you want more...HIIT training does wonders as does a heavy lifting program.

But remember exercise is for health and fitness...your diet is about weight loss. Just remember to eat enough to fuel the exercise you are doing and get in lots of protien to help heal the muscles and keep you feeling fuller longer.
