    you need to put [ img ] in front and [ / img ] behind - with no spaces in order to get the pics to show :)

    It's not easy to tell, since you have a substantial amount still to lose, but you have a nice natural waist and curvy hips, but it looks like you might be an hourglass. Woohoo, lucky you! :wink:

    im trying to think of how i would look it i were smaller.
    imaginating myself smaller gives me more motivation :)

  • Hi, if your shoulders are narrower than your hips and you have a defined waist you are a pear, also called a triangle or an A.

    if your hips are narrower than your shoulder you are an inverted triangle.

    if you carry most of your weight around your waist and your lower body is small you are an apple.

    if you shoulders and hips are the same with a marked waist you are an hourglass.

    if you have equal shoulder, hips and waist you are a rectangle.

  • Depending on your body type you can find ways of dressing to minimise certain area of your body and accentuate your assets. The perfect shape is supposed to be the hourglass shape, so if you are a pear you must make the bottom of your body look smaller and make the opposite for the top.

    Exemple I am a pear shape and 5'1", there are some cloths that makes me look bulkier and shorther than I am. I did a relooking session with someone that specialise in that field.

    Skinny jeans emphasize my hips but a wider legs balance it. Dark Pallazo without motif suits me the best, slims my hips and makes me look taller. Also to have a top of a lighter that define my waist brings the attention to the top of my body.

    We can loose weight but we cannot dramatically change our body type so leafning to dress the part is a plus.

    It will not change much in your life that is for sure but it does not hurt to give it a try

    This is extremely interesting to me! I am not super caught up in "what shape am I?" but my friends/family have all called me an hourglass, but I thought it was dependent on bust measurement. My bust and waist are quite similar width, and then my hips are WAY bigger, but my shoulders ARE about the same width as my hips. That would explain a lot about why I don't appear to be a pear.

    Have always (until now) heard it was dependent on bust/waist/hip measurements. Interesting!
