Tonight I'm having grilled lamb steak, with a side of peas and pancetta. If calories allow, I may have a few oven chips along with that.

What sorts of food do you like, what do you have int eh house, is it just for you or does it have to feed others? 600 is a pretty generous amount to play with.

I am having garlic shrimp with veggies and pasta in a sauce...about 450 calories...I could add bread (grilled garlic) if I wanted but I would have to give up the pasta I am having with my lunch..:noway:

The above gives me lots of protien, gets my carbs up and is quite filling too.

Stuffed portabella mushroom caps are wonderful and so low calorie. You can stuff with black olives, tomatoes and a little light cheddar for a taco mushroom or with tomato, fresh basil and light mozzarella for a pizza mushroom. There's endless possibilities.

We're having Trader Joe's frozen Mandarin Chicken, mixed with steamed broccoli, and served over white rice. The portion I have planned for myself will be about 450 calories.

Try an Organic Kale smoothie w/ UNsweetened almond and/or coconut milk (I use 16 oz of each), 1 scoop vegan protein powder, mix your favorite 2 kinds of frozen fruit (don't go too crazy on the fruit or you'll go over 600 calories fast), 1/2 tbs. coconut oil, 1/2 tbs. quinoa, chia, & flaxseed (same quantity for each), use stevia as sweetener if desired. Voila! Bon apetit!

Do you have an onion, too? you could saute a little of the bacon with some diced onions and then make rice and beans, throw in some spices and tomato paste if you have it!
