Those pesky last few lbs....

Hi there,
I've used myfitnesspal on and off for a few yrs now and I'm back with hopes of losing those final pounds. Although I've lost a good amount of college/grad school "good times" weight, I find it very difficult to lose these last 8 lbs, mainly because I'm at a descent size and can easily justify to myself that I'm "fine". I'm also interested in toning now that I'm very close to the size I should be...the ol' skin looks a lot different than it did before weight gain.
Anyone else battling with those last few lbs or toning after losing? I'd love to join in on some support.
Thanks so much!

I'm in the same boat for the most part. I gained weight in my last three years at college, but I'm relatively thin. My max weight loss would be 20 lbs, but I'd be happy at 10 - 15 lb.
Those last pounds are the hardest to get off! I've actually hit a lazy streak and haven't worked out in the past few days partially because I'm feeling discouraged at the lack of results.
So I would love some support too, I'll send you a friend request!0 -

Thanks, everyone! miss_phat_boo , the link you passed along is super helpful!
Are there any support groups that members can join to help keep us accountable? I'm really weird about discussing weight loss with ppl in my life (friends, coworkers, family) so I think strangers would be most helpful0
