    I agree. I am glad I never followed those "rules".

    I think the rule about jump starting your diet is what a lot of people get into, and one of the reasons I always shied away from traditional "dieting" because I was totally intimidated by drastic, extreme change all at once.

    Also, probably written by a mean person who just wants to discourage low carb diets, no sugar diets, clean eating, paleo, cleanses, detox, etc.
