successful weightloss whilst still drinking wine regularly

Wine is my downfall ! Has anyone had successful weightloss whilst still drinking wine regularly (as part of their calorie count). Would be great to hear success stories or accept that I must give it up for the time-being

I don't personally but nothing stopping you from losing weight while drinking wine assuming you still stay in your calorie limit.

Sure you can. How often are you drinking it? Obviously if u drink too much it will be hard to stick within your goals but I indulge 2 nights a week or try skinny girl wine which is lower in calories . Make sure you track it. If u arent losing u might be motivated to cut back
  • One of my clients has lost over 20 lbs in just over 2 months, drinking 1-2 glasses of red wine every night of the week. It's definitely possible! The challenge is that you have to fit the wine into your daily calories, and if you're trying to lose weight, you're already going to be eating less than you normally would be. Wine isn't satiating at all, so it can make it more difficult to stay on your diet if you get calories from wine as opposed to food. On the other hand, if having a glass of wine regularly actually helps you stick to a diet, I'm all for it!

Thanks guys for your support ! I think I will earn wine by calories spent at the gym. Seems a good compromise.

I go through times where i'm drinking every single night. a glass or 3....mostly wine...and then i'll try to keep it only to the weekends....and i'm dropping weight, as long as i'm in my calorie goal I drop.

I also weigh my wine out, otherwise I will easily drink way too much of it.

as long as you're staying within your calorie goal and hitting your macros it shouldn't be a problem
