I'm aiming for 1220 though I eat back most of my exercise calories! Some days it's absolutely fine, other days I need my treats and I have to work hard for them! Feel free to add me.0

Breastfeeding is found under food. Weird I know.
Anyone can add me0 -
I was even doing less than 1200 but the app said it was too low. I started 6 days ago. Then I was trying to do what the app was saying, so with exercise would be higher. Though, if I eat more than around 1300 even with exercise, I don't think my weight drops, at least as I would like.
Conclusion: I am going to stick to 1200 calories. It is easy for me, if I don't eat few bread and no cream crackers0 -
Add me if you'd like0
-
I'm not currently that low, but I do intermittent fasting and full on fasting, so I'm open to low kcal friends.
Add me if you like!0 -
why?0

Hey feel free to add me 1200 a day. I was eating a bit more than that and maintaining but trying to lose again.0

I'm at 1270, But I'm terrible at hitting that goal. Anyone who wants, feel free to add me and send me angry messages when I eat calorie-dense unhealthy foods and go over my goal I'm baking some mini-cheesecakes right now... Still can't wean myself off sugar.
I'm proud of myself for at least being under 2 out of the last 4 days, and I WILL be under today!0 -
1200 here0

My names Jamal I recently went from 327 pounds to 279 and counting. I decided to switch from the 1500 calories to 1200..crazy huh? Anyways I'm looking for people to take this journey with motivators.
Maybe not "crazy", but as an adult male, almost certainly ill-advised.
(However, this is also true for *most* adult females too.)
Best of luck.0 -
I dieted most of my life... tried every fad diet there was... guess what they didn't work because they are all too restrictive and too difficult to sustain.
Keep it simple find a REASONABLE deficit: Most people do not need to eat 1200 calories to lose.
If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 40-75 lbs to lose 1.5 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 25-40 lbs to lose 1 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 15 -25 lbs to lose 0.5 to 1.0 lbs/week is ideal
If you have less than 15 lbs to lose 0.5 lbs/week is ideal
Log your food accurately and honestly this thread will help:

Find an activity you enjoy doing - I found I love to ride my bike and lift heavy stuff

Seriously, I am over-40, short (5'1") woman with PCOS and IR (I.e. metabolic disorders). I have a sedentary desk job so my only exercise is planned. I lose weight on 125% of that goal (1500/day). We all presumably like food enough to have gained weight. I'm all for not living to eat. But 1200 is miserable low for most people (yes, there are a few older, very short women for whom 1200 isnt crazy) and gives you nothing else to cut when you plateau. Who wants to be miserable or hungry all the time?0 -
I'm at 1200 but I sometimes go over..0
-
I have been doing 1200 but I have been slacking on adding entries because I have been going over. It is good to see that I am not the only one that has. I feel much better. Thanks to all for making me feel better!0

1200 here. Feel free to add me on.0

Hi, I am also working at 1200 calories a day. Had gained 45 pounds back after losing 125 after a gastric sleeve procedure. Decided I was not only going to not gain any more weight...but that I was going to lose what I put on. So far...so good! Down 18 pounds in 10 weeks. Coming off slow...but that's okay. I find this APP very helpful when I actually use it.0

I'm 1200 too. I just started last week, but feel free to add me. I'll make my food diary public, if I can figure it out. I'm trying not to eat the exercise calories - I am still kinda flummoxed on why they add those to the daily food diary, but some days it helped as I'm trying to figure out the food. My diary includes take out. I am trying not to deprive myself from eating regular foods while trying to stay within my goal of 1200. But any help with food diary's is awesome, so I'll be adding you all if I can figure out how.0

I am doing 1200 plus low carb0

18 pounds in 10 weeks is "slow"?
What rate would you consider "fast"?0
