I feel SO in control lately. Today I was craving bread and I refuse to completely cut things out if I want a healthier life style. So I made an open face sandwich with tuna and spinach (homemade paleo mayo), side of avocado, and a whole bunch of berries. What did you guys eat??

looks good enough to eat!0 -
homemade chicken salad (craisins, curry powder, little mayo and lots of non-fat greek yogurt). less than 200 cals and 24ish g of protein. Also had a fruit salad of watermelon, strawberries, fresh chopped basil, pepper and salt - sounds weird but tastes nomnomnom0

well, I left my lunch at home. I refuse to go across the street to McDonald's or Taco Bell. So I wound up drinking Green tea and eating 20 peanut M&Ms.202 calories. lol I don't recommend it, but it was better than nothing. lol0

Thanks! I couldn't figure out how to post it.0

I had to work earlier than planned, so I didn't have time to pack a lunch. Went to Subway. Bacon, egg white and cheese flatbread with green peppers. Not too bad overall, but I could have done better with my own lunch.0

Low sodium tuna with creamy light swiss laughing cow cheese mixed in on a 100 calorie wheat/flax/fiber sandwich round. Spicy cheddar popped wheat thins to go with it.

I had a sandwich (thinly sliced chicken breast, on sourdough bread with longhorn cheddar), a lunchbox sized bag of Lay's and a mini can of Coke.0

1 cup of homemade black beans, 1/2 an avocado, a couple of good sized beets, some raw mixed veggies, cherries, and a La Croix sparkling water.
I also have sandwiches frequently which means bread...don't know why bread get such a bum wrap...it can be a perfectly acceptable part of an overall healthy and balanced diet.0 -

You just don't like them? You could get a salad or wrap from McDonalds's or a crunchy taco from Taco Bell. Better than M&Ms for lunch in my opinion. I need real food for lunch not just candy.
I had homemade chili, light string cheese and blueberries for lunch today.0 -
I made a grilled chicken breast sandwich with a homemade garlic aioli. I should have taken a picture!0

Today for lunch I had a big bowl of delicious soup my husband made. It included white beans, kale, carrots, onion & spices. Afterward I made smoothies out of steamed apples, almond milk, peanut butter, flaxseed & cinnamon.0

Leftovers, which is pretty usual as I always cook an extra portion at night.
Today was brown rice, marinara sauce, chicken, zucchini, mushrooms and spinach.

That sounds awesome! I also get sad when I take the last bite of something really yummy! Like last week when I made a grilled provolone, tomato and avacado sandwich! I almost cried when I took the last bite. Back in the day, I would've just made another one.....0 -
Today's menu consisted of a turkey sandwich on a multigrain flat bread with a wedge of laughing cow jalapeno cheese, a mini can of V-8 juice, celery and a blackberry greek yogurt.
Everyone's lunch on here looks pretty great!0 -
