      The countdown has been on in our house for weeks! Will be cheering on England as well as the other teams that feature Southampton FC players in them. Beers are in the fridge and flags are up :-)

Okay now let's be honest, there's NO way USA will beat Germany or Portugal or Ghana. This will be a very bad world cup for USA. Please don't be surprise if you guys don't win a single game. Ghana all the way.

      Plus I will not cheat/go over my calories while watching this world cup. NO alcohol or chips for me!!!!!!!

      I'm as excited about the World Cup as I am about cauliflower pizza crust.

      Used to love football in the days of Ron "Chopper" Harris and Norman "Bites yer Legs" Hunter but the players seem so pathetic these days. Slightest contact and they go down like there's a sniper in the crowd.....

      that is a very good clip. saw it the other day, and it shed some light on a lot of things for everyone that doesn't pay attention to soccer. i knew the country was spending a lot of money for the world cup, but a stadium in manaus that'll go unused after 4 games? rediculous.

      After playing for 20+ years i've broken all my digits, ribs, nose, dislocated shoulder etc. Each and every time I've not rolled around on the floor clutching at my perfectly moisturised face and crying like a baby.....

      Almost as disappointing was England's loss to Italy.
