Hi, my name is Brenda and I have struggled with my weight since having my children. My friend told me about this site and how supportive everyone is so here I am. I know I'm a stress eater so planning my daily meals is very important for me. Sometimes I struggle with being under calories but I'm trying to make better, healthier food choices and snack in between. Exercise hasn't been at the top of my list but as of yesterday when I joined I made up my mind it was going to be. I was very excited to see mowing my lawn even on a riding mower was exercise, lol I love to mow my lawn. But today is get back on my treadmill day, which I also enjoy...slow and steady.

You made the decision and you're here, that's half the battle. One day at a time, one workout at a time, one pound at a time. Feel free to friend me if you'd like support.0

Welcome, Brenda! There are lots of great threads on here for beginners if you ever have questions. You should be able to use the search function and find them fairly easily.
Best of luck!
ETA: Or follow those links down there. Good stuff, promise.

This is everything I got...
Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it's always your choice.

It's about moderation not deprivation. There are no good/bad foods, only bad eating habits. Do or do not, there is no try. You have to want it, you have to work for it, you have to realize that only you can do it.
