This may be of no interest to anyone else but i could literally explode right now.
Got my eldests school report today with her final predictions for her GCSE's. To say i'm not happy is an understatement. 2 B's and the rest A's and A*. I'm bloody ecstatic. Fit to burst

Just stop already.
My son makes me proud because he has faced so much adversity and he never stops bettering himself. He amazes me every day.0 -
I live in an Arab country and my kids go to Arabic medium schools. Their first language is English, although they've acquired Arabic due to being in Arabic speaking nursery schools. All their subjects are taught in Arabic, except for English.
The older one got "mumtaz" (excellent) in all her subjects and was one of a group of kids who got a special prize for getting "mumtaz" in all their subjects. (the younger one is still in nursery)0 -

That's great, because being able to keep going through adversity is an excellent life skill.0 -
Well done to everyone's children
OK I'm sharing my proud mami moment.
My 8yo donated 8" of her hair to The Little Princess Trust & raised £90 in the process0 -

That's a great achievement, especially with all the current political meddling. Time to celebrate!
I'm proud of my boys because at the ages of 6 and 3, they ride their bikes without stabilisers and with good control. We went on a 6 mile family ride on a local bike path last weekend, with no problems at all0 -

Thanks for joining in folks! Kids are something special aren't they? My youngest said to me recently that when she grows up she wants to be a lovely mammy like me. Then she asked if she could marry me! Of course i said she could!0

My daughter is in 2nd grade and is at a 3rd grade math level, 4th grade language arts and 6th grade reading level. She catches on to new concepts super quick and is very smart!
However, she also has a fun sense of humor and is witty and fun - this has earned her the spot of class clown and she drives teacher crazy. She is always down with her work before every other kid in the class, then doesn't seem to have the ability to just sit still and be quiet.0 -

No. Just don't feel the need to brag about my child on the internets to strangers.0 -
I don't have kids, but I have a little brother, who often makes me proud. I get especially happy when he actually listens to me and our parents, apologizes when he does something wrong, and when he acts very mature for his age trying to fit in with the grown up kids in our family haha.
Also, one of the sweetest things he said to me was when I was babysitting him for the weekend. He said he wouldn't mind if our mom died, because he knows I would take good care of him, and he loves spending time with me, even though I am stricter than mom. I didn't tell my mom he said that, though, lol!
He's also so funny! Gosh, I miss him!0 -
Good for you! Sometimes we just need to brag on our kids, and don't want to annoy our friends and family with it, so the internet is the perfect place!
People use the net to vent about all the things that piss them off that they can't say to the actual people they want to say it to, so why not use it for bragging on our kiddos.
My son is turning 14 next week, and has Aspergers. His elementary years were a nightmare for him and all around him, but we stuck it out and he worked so hard to learn the life and coping skills he needed. He has grown into an amazing young man, and I am just so proud of him every day.
Our kids need to hear how proud we are when they accomplish great things.0 -

That's a shame, my kids are worth bragging about to anyone.0 -
Awwww, congrats, sweetie!!! My son is my mini-me and I hear ya!! One day, maybe he'll bring home A's and B's, but until then, I'll still be proud bc he does his best!! Congrats!!0

I think it's great OP and well done on your kid.
However I would advise that folk are generally not that fussed in hear about other folks kids. Especially when it's total random strangers.
*Also JK to smash someone's face in is never the best way to make new friends! Play nice0 -
