How to stay within sugar limit?

Options
I seem to ALWAYS have way more sugar than MFP says I should have. It just seems like ALL food has sugar!! And I especially love fruit and it has soooo much sugar too. How do you keep your sugar levels down without starving yourself?

I was always under when I tracked it, but I don't eat a lot of fruit. Unless you are insulin resistant you probably do not need to worry about sugar from fruit. Added sugar is what most nutritionists and doctors would tell you to limit.

Do you have a medical reason to limit sugar?

If no, then stop tracking sugar.

If yes, your doctor will have some great info to help you with that.

What I did was limit my sugar in other foods. Like eating organic peanut butter (no added sugar), Le Fage Greek Yogurt (Total Zero Fat), finding breads/cereals with no sugar, drinking water/ no sugary drinks, just basically reading every label before it goes in my shopping cart. I only want my sugar to come from fruits and organic honey. That's it. Sugar is in EVERY thing. I mean EVERYTHING! Especially fastfood! That's why its so addicting.
