Help with setting goals on Polar FT4

Hello, I just received my polar ft4 and the instructions weren't very clear and I need a little bit of help with it. I looked on their website and it seems that all their "helpful" links are broken and it says "page not found".
I am trying to set my "Zone Limits", so far they are set between 124-162.
I am 29y, 5' 6", 218lbs.
I have my MHR set at 191 (220-29)
are my zone limits accurate or how should I go about setting them as accurate as possible?
TIA!

Don't know! But I'm interested as the health and well being team at work have recommended I get one of these!
So bumping! :laugh:0 -
There is calculation for this.
The very very basic rule is a pulse of 220 minus your age.
I generally use my ft 4 for calorie counting.
Plus, I would not be able to go to 180. (220 - 40 in my case)
When I started working out, i almost broke down at a pulse around 130, in the meanwhile my max. is 150 before I have to make a break.
I would always go with what your body tells you rather than a little machine :-)0 -
