    Hey Abby,

    I'm apparently the only other person in Illinois? ;-) Anyway, I'm an extremely motivational person and also seem to do better myself when I'm actively helping others. I've done just about everything, from being an athlete in college/high school, to getting wicked fat (241 lbs) post college. Dropped down to 167 and then put the "good" weight back on after getting too small to get up to my current 185. I've worked with old male and female friends, but most of them are getting into their family lives now and not overly concerned with being as healthy as they've once been. If you'd like any advice or want someone to help keep you motivated, let me know.

    Illinois here too.

    Looks like we're pretty well spread out across the state. That's a good thing. If we were all from the same area and we all lost weight at the same time, our state could tip over.

    No kidding! And Chicago has enough flab to allow the rest of us to get ourselves in shape - if it hasn't tipped us over, nothing will (well, okay, maybe Springfield!
