I feel the same way. Not to say that they aren't great athletes but seriously? You fell down, someone slide tackled you. Unless your sh*ts broken, get up and shake it off. (and yes, I have played the sport and gotten injured as well, suck it up!)

I pick the winning team based on how cute they are. Accurate 81.3% of the time. Of course, if roster hotness were the only measure- they would just give it to Uruguay! (Nicholas Lodeiro, Martin Silva, Diego Lugano....)0

You know what's fun? People coming into a soccer/football thread to say they don't watch soccer/football. Oh wait, did I say fun? I meant stupid.
I don't watch soccer/football most of the time, and I prefer American football as a sport, but I love the World Cup! And as has previously been explained, when the players dive (pretend to be hurt worse than they are), it's a strategy to get the ref's attention (or get a hot-head Portuguese player to headbutt you and get himself red-carded, haha) and get a penalty called on the other team. Most of the time they pop back up and go right back to playing once the ref makes a decision.
But yes, they are super hot... I love the ones with big crazy hair!
