Since you plan on losing 25lbs, I would suggest setting your goals to a loss of .5lbs-1lb a week.
25lbs is doable, but try not to get discouraged if your weight jumps all over the place/you plateau/ect. Weight loss is not linear.

I would suggest punching in your numbers, setting your activity level, setting it at either half to one pound a week, and go from there. Start with exercises your body can handle and you are comfortable with, and work your way up to more. Since MFP is also designed for you to eat back exercise calories (since your deficit is already built in to your daily goal), I would suggest eating back at least half if you are using the exercise burns MFP provides (they like to be generous).

Also, definitely get a food scale, and weigh/log everything.
    Good luck!
