Fat loss weight routine?

I'm looking to start lifting a lot more and use a set routine. I checked the body building site, but I couldn't really find what I wanted. I'm looking to do a fat loss weight routine using weight machines 3-4 a week. Does anyone do a routine like this or know where I can find one?

    Choose a routine below:

    A. Lift weights. Eat less. You will lose weight (mostly fat with some muscle loss).

    B. Eat less without training (or all cardio). You will lose both fat and muscle.

Why can't I do cardio and weights in the same weekly routine?

    You can.

Just make sure you don't overdo the cardio.

Most people on here would advocate a free-weight approach, but machines can work if it's all you have access to at the moment. Check out Lyle McDonalds site: bodyrecomposition. He's an advocate of machine lifting as an on-ramp for beginner lifters.

Make sure you have a sane calorie deficit and plenty of protein and progressively increase the resistance on a periodic basis and you'll cut some fat and retain some muscle.

A combination of weights and cardio work well for losing weight. A lot of people alternate between strength training days and cardio days.

All I'm saying is that there's not a specific "fat loss" routine. It's about creating a calorie deficit. Lifting helps preserve the muscles while your losing the weight.

Have a gander at this, OP:

Right Hand Side of the table for machine-based lifting.
