Would give & love to receive extra motivation and support, I currently follow about a 90% vegan lifestyle, the only thing that I eat that isn't vegan is a cup of tea which has about 20mL light blue cows milk. Doing this for me & no other reason :)
Oh, also to show my ex boyfriend what he's missed out on hehehe ;)

Where are my sassy vegan chickies at! :D xx

hello there :) i've been vegan since around mid-september. well, like you, i'd say mostly vegan. every now and then if i go to like a family get together and there's some yummy non-vegan dessert that i really really want, i will take a bite, but just literally a one or two-bite sized piece. i'm still new-ish at being vegan so i feel it just helps me satiate myself a little sometimes and not feel so restricted. eventually i'd like to be able to avoid things like that -- sometimes sweet things get me :ohwell: i became vegan to help me lose weight and because i knew i'd feel so much better knowing all of my diet would be coming from all plants. and its true -- i love it :) before i went vegan i ate meat and dairy, eggs, honey. but didn't eat meat very often, maybe 4 meals a week. anyways, it's always nice to meet another vegan! :)

Hi! I've been vegan on and off my whole life (divorced parents one family meat and cheese lovers and the other vegan) and chosen to be so myself since around 14. But haven't always stayed so, even now sometimes ( 1-2 a year if some big family thing where ppl I care about would get upset otherwise) I eat some bivalve shellfish or random tcm stuff that's definitely not vegan that my hubby or mil give me. I know I'm way healthier vegan if only b/c whenever I'm not I feel pretty gross, but mainly do it for ethical reasons, so figure the least harm applies to loved ones also... Justifications/excuses (hehe) in terms of weight eating mostly high carb but avoiding grains and too much fructose ie. tons of veggies potato beans a few nuts seeds means I'm mantaining under 44kg on about 1800 kc (as an aside the years I ate more standard diet or meat ect I gained a ton on 1300 and developed a really bad relationship with food... Also I don't think that everyone should avoid grains or fructose or even be high carb everyone's biochemistry is unique so just play around with your macros and what foods suit you best. The only universal thing that makes a diet healthy is that it's anti inflammatory for your body, but what causes/reduces inflammation is different for everyone. Anyway just eat in a way that makes you feel wonderful in your body and enjoy your life :)

I'm a vegan, nice to meet you! I feel great on a plant-based diet, doing it for ethical reasons, also have a delicate stomach and cannot digest heavy animal foods. Please join Team Vegan if you haven't already!
