Pain in bottom left of stomach and top right chest

Hey, whenever I go for runs, usually 1-2 miles, I seem to get pains in either bottom left of my stomach or later in the run top right of chest, which completely incapacitates me, ending my run early, when I'm barely out of breath and my legs are not sore. Wondering what I could do to prevent this, I always drink water and eat breakfast about half an hour before I set out for my run.

Cheers

Sounds like it could be a stitch, the link below was one of many when I googled...stitch while running, and if the one below isn't helpful to you, maybe do a search for more information.

Had my first run in a long time where it's not happened, and ran twice as far, thank you :-)

I did some research after dealing with this for a couple of weeks.
One of the most popular responses I had seen was the breathing. When running, breathing deeply and including your belly area is important to stretch the muscles in that area.
A good exercise for this is, when you're going to bed at night, breathe so your tummy expands. Start doing this while running until it is habit.

I've been doing this and haven't had hardly any cramps!
