Finger pain????

I have a job with a lot of typing, mouse work and hand manipulation skills- can't avoid it as part of job. Getting a recurrence of tendonitis lateral aspect of the nuckle in right greater than left hand. Been to 2 hand specialists and a hand rehabilitation specialist. They tried injecting it, ultrasound and excercise. That did not work. Simple daily tasks now effect it. The only thing that seems to help is massage and occasionally ice and aspircream. Also tried NSAID pills. Yet only temporary. Also if I don't do anything at all it dissipates. Yet sometimes it will flair on its own too. Any one have what I have called mouse finger and how have you battled it?

Can you switch mouse hands? It's tough to get used to but once you get used to it, it's actually not bad being ambidextrous with a mouse. My old PA used to swap hands every 3 months...
