I had coil removed in November and went started the Progestin only pill cerazette. I am due a period next week and the last 2/3 days I have been bloated even in the morning before eating. Sunday I weight 152 now back up to 155 :-(.

I know people will say this is fluid my question I have scales that show your body water which is 47%, so if it was fluid retention wouldn't that be higher because that is about the normal for me? Or do the scale that measure body water not work like that for fluid retention?

Feeling a bit gutted by it and uncomfortable as so bloated. not exercised since Monday either have been drinking water just not logged it

Thank you in advance

Those body water/body fat things on scales aren't very accurate at all. I can swing from 17.5% body fat (yesterday) to 14.7% body fat (today) on mine just because I didn't drink that much water last night. Unless you ate somewhere in the ballpark of 4000 calories every day since Sunday, you didn't gain 3 pounds of fat. If you feel bloated, you're probably bloated. Wait it out, you'll be alright in a few days.
