    First album was Jefferson Airplane - (don't remember name)
    First 8 track was probably something by Jimi Hendrix
    Three Dog Night, recorded by me onto cassette from a borrowed album. (That was real hi tech back in the day.) :)

    The Empire Strikes Back soundtrack was my first cassette. The first CD was a trio of Styx albums I got for Christmas one year along with my first CD player: Crystal Ball, Kilroy Was Here, and Pieces of Eight.

    I had other records and albums (including several K -Tel compilations) when I was younger, but the first album I ever bought (on vinyl, and with my own hard-earned babysitting money) was Asia...by Asia. And now I humming "Heat of the Moment "
