I was packing to move this weekend and uncovered a pair of pants at the bottom of a basket that has missed being sent to Goodwill. It turned out they were the size 24W pants that were the only pair that fit me when I was at my absolute largest a few years ago. I was about to toss them into the new Goodwill bag, when I held them up and decided that no, I need to keep these, just to remind me how far I've come.
VERY cool!! :-)
I was coloring my hair yesterday and I have a little stack of ratty old t-shirts I wear for that purpose. The one I put on was a black men's XXL tee with a vintage-style graphic on it. It was the same t-shirt I wore on my first date 2 yrs ago with my husband (casual summertime meet up) and at the time, I chose it because of how flattering it was. It only came to the very top of my jeans that day. Now it comes to mid-thigh on me, totally covers my entire bum, and is twice again wide enough for me.9 -
Fit into a stack of my skinny dresses I had put away!5

My NSV I just noticed that I have been eating only when hungary lately for at least a couple of months now. Also when I go shopping where there are full length mirrors I don't feel as fat as I use to now I can see that my body has made a change. I still have a long way to go, but not as long as it use to be. Cheers to all of us and our NSV'S :drinker:3

Fit back into a dress that I haven't been able to in about 7 years. I want to wear it to a wedding in October.3

I am officially overweight according to BMI (which would really suck if I hadn't been obese to start)
I had to have sizing beads put on my ring last month.
I can touch my finger tips together when gripping my wrist.5 -
I love to see these NSV's! It's really the personal things (no matter how small) that keep me going.
My NSV's from the weekend:
Buying a regular sized chocolate bar and eating it on two separate occasions---days apart!
Wore a fancy dress to a semi-formal event on Friday that I haven't been able to fit in since 2007!3 -
I love reading these- makes me realize there are many ways that I am overlooking NSV's!
I purchased some work out pants a few weeks ago from Target. The pair of yoga pants I purchased in an XXL and never tried them on yet. Since the rest of my clothes and work out pants were feeling loose in XL's- I brought them back to be exchanged for a smaller size. I got a LARGE! While I realize they are stretchy, I also hate anything to tigh ton me. Now to exchange a bunch of XL Old Navy tee's that are still sitting in the bag to Large's1 -
I'm no longer obese, just overweight!6

Went through my closet and found 3 pairs of pants, 6 shirts and a dress that I could not fit into a month ago, but now they fit! Feels good to add some clothes back into the wardrobe. :happy:4

Caught my reflection in a tinted window at work today. Whoa, those aren't Ionic columns, those are actual thighs now!5

Went for a jog/ walk on Sunday night. I beat my PR on the first mile by over 30 seconds with a 10.24..... had to walk 90% of the rest of the 6 miles because I was exhausted, but finished with an average pace of less than 14 minutes a mile.3

My thighs don't rub together when I walk. :P7
-
I tried on a size 6 pair of pants at the Gap last night and they were really loose at the waist. I'm already at maintenance and it seems my body is still changing.3

My mom asked if I lost weight...I hadn't :P5

I'm a treadmill runner. I can go hours on the machine. Outdoor running is infinitely different. But last night, not sure what overtook me, but I felt this need to go for an outside run. I did a little over 2 miles in 24 minutes! I was so excited!7

This lady working the register at publix the other day recognized me since I shop there every week but it had been a few months since id seen her, she out of nowhere was like "I can tell you're still losing weight, you're getting sexified" I was a little embarrassed oddly because i wasnt expecting it but smiled and laughed after saying thanks. I don't turn red often anymore but got blindsided and it happened.6

I climbed this sand dune without thinking I was going to die or having to stop until I reached the top.

I am a clothes horse. After being the same size for 10+ years, I had a closet full of everything a professional might possibly need. At the end of this school year (I'm a teacher), I had shrunk out of most of my professional wardrobe. No worries, it's summer and I can get by with just a few casual outfits and workout clothes as I am exercising more than I ever have in my life.
Then I had to go to work today for a meeting and realized I don't have ONE pair of professional pants that fit.
Gulp.4 -
Went to a baseball game tonight and had no issues with the seat - actually had wiggle room in my hip area for the first time ever.
Feels amazing !7 -

Love it!1 -
Did a cardio workout DVD I've been working on the last few months (alternating with my running days)...normally by the last move in the final segment (lots of twists and jumps) I'm dripping in sweat and telling myself "only 30 more seconds, just need to get through 30 more seconds!!" Today by the end, I'm shocked that it's the end of the workout already and I'm not praying for it to be over!3

Had to ditch my latest pair of jeans. Now back into the smallest jeans I've ever owned.5

Seeing the scale go down and knowing that I did it without a) starving myself, b) working out for two hours a day (at least).5

I have two!
My dad and I were at lunch and we ran into a friend of his, who had met me before several years ago. She insisted that she hadn't met me and kept smiling at me. She then said, "I think I met your other daughter" and my dad named my stepsister, and the woman insisted no, "your other brunette daughter who is a little older"...after a little more talking we realized she meant ME when I was heavier. Niiiiiice.
I'm wearing a pair of size 10 Loft skinny jeans right now. I am not a size 10. I'm a 12. But this is still awesome. I've never worn a 10 before in my life...I went from the "chubby girls" kids clothes at Sears into a juniors 13 and women's 12-14 when I was in like 5th-6th grade.4 -
I recently ran a hilly 25k trail race and took a half an hour off my best time. I was able to run all the hills and maintain a great pace on the flat areas. It pays to weigh less!!5
-
I have logged onto MFP for 365 days and still like the journey!!!9
-
I started going to a trainer at the beginning of May and got back to tracking at the beginning of this month. Today I am wearing a shirt that was too tight on my stomach and chest back in April! It actually may be too big altogether.1

I made it across the monkey bars! And went back for more!7
