I was surprised California didn't show up as a spring greens mix, but grapes are a huge deal (especially wine...). And it's a toss up for me whether hazelnuts or blueberries best match my impression of Oregon so far.

Well, seeing how there is a steak house on every corner in Texas, I would have to say yes.

I love it! Well, I've lived in several states -- here are my opinions:

Georgia - duh. If it hadn't been peaches, they could have put boiled peanuts (yum).
South Carolina - I have never seen those things in my life. Only lived there four years, but ... ????
Pennsylvania - yes! Cheesesteaks. My second choice would have been soft pretzels.
California - okay ... grapes=wine, raisins... But I would have expected avocados.
Colorado - Meh. Just because it's named after Denver? I'd have expected lamb since CO supplies most of the lamb for the country ... or some southwestern food like sopapillas.

(My husband's from WI and he would agree with cheese -- with a brat on the side!)
  • Washington = apples. Well yes I guess. Even when visiting down in Guadalajara, Mexico we were able to buy WA apples!! I was hoping more for a "real" food like salmon or something.

Just realized what they could/should have put for Colorado - Elk! Elk stew, elk chili, elk jerky -- we've got it all.
  • Crab puff for Delaware??? Really? Kind of strange, but it's seafood so I'll take it! :)

    Wyoming should be Busch light.
  • Could someone tell me what Alabama is? I'm at work and it's blocked, of course.

I will venture a guess that it's something fried and gross though. People in Alabama love brown food.
  • Alabama is corn bread...could of been worse! :)

I agree with the Chicago style pizza for IL... But would be a close run with an Italian beef and cheese! :)
