I am thinking about starting to eat raw food for like 2 weeks to see how that go. I am actually thinking about cutting out meat I am confused at how I should go about this situation I want to try to eat better which I am. I really want to change up the rice intake that I am eating honestly.

Raw food diets are beneficial, but I'd be careful to watch and maintain nutrients as it can be more difficult without supplements or experience in raw dieting. I am vegetarian myself, and it's purely for health reasons. There are numerous benefits to cutting out meat (and some of those same benefits can be gain by LIMITING meat), and especially red meat, pork, and anything that's from an animal that been over-drugged.
If you decide to cut out meat, I'd recommend cutting out slowly. No red meat/pork for 2 weeks. Then start cutting out others along the way. Take a full month to go meatless, as it gives you time to find the meat alternatives that you like the best without leaving you to salads and carbs nonstop because you don't know what your options are, and it also will help your body adjust to the meatless diet with a smoother transition.
And what are your reasons for cutting back your rice intake? There's nothing wrong with having rice if it's the right kind.0 -
I just wanted to start with that because I am eating properly but it seem like it is not good enough. I honestly don't really eat red meat it have been well over a month and I am fine with that I am just guessing because I really dont know how to plan meals:(0

If you decide to "go raw", do your research first. There's a huge HUGE leap between meat eater to raw vegan. Why not try vegetarian first, and see if you can sustain that in a healthy way?0

You also really need to do your research to make sure you're eating right. Go on YouTube and watch FreeLee the banana girl's video on food combining. It's REALLY important to practice proper food combining. There is also a site called 30bananasaday.com with a community of raw foodies to help people out. And make sure you're eating as much as you can!0

There are probably a lot easier fixes to why you aren't progressing like you should than going to a whole restrictive diet. If it is simply that you are not losing weight then it is one of three things: You have the numbers wrong for your caloric deficit, you aren't logging food correctly, or you are not logging exercise correctly. If it is about not losing weight fast enough, consistency and longevity are keys to modifying your lifestyle to be healthy and sustainable.0 -

I am in no rush to lose weight my co worker was speaking about it and I was just curious to how it would be. I am losing weight at a steady pace like 1 to 2 pounds a week maybe if I am lucky.0 -

I do about an 80/20 raw diet, not by decision, but because I prefer raw veggies than cooked. I love the crunch/texture and the taste better. Maybe start slowly, one or two meals a day raw, and then work your way from there. I just feel less bogged down eating raw. You still need to count calories, regardless.0

Going Raw is the best thing that has happened to me.
But going Raw sudden might have its consequences as your body may struggle with too much fiber.
My recommendation is to start slow - like for week one 20-30% of calories come from raw. Increase that slowly over weeks 2,3 & 4 until you become fully raw.
Under raw food the feeling is just amazing and I constantly find myself shying away from "normal" cooked food and gravitate towards raw.0 -

It's really hard to get sufficient protein without meat. Could you maybe just try eating some chicken or fish with your raw veggies?0

all i have to add is, the food processor is your friend when going on a raw diet.
you can make all manner of sauces, dips, spreads, fillings out of raw ingredients with a food processor
I did about 2 years as an all-local-foods raw vegan. I made an exception for tropical fruits, nuts, quinoa, and coffee. If it weren't for my fair-trade coffee with raw cashew "cream" made in the food processor, that eating style never would have worked for me.0 -
and they say guys and Marines (even veterans) are crude and make things come back to sex. lol .:laugh:0
