Zucchini Chips

I just made the best snack!! I took 3 small zucchini's, sliced them ultra-thin in the food processor. Then I tinfoil-wrapped a baking sheet, spritzed with Pam (actually, I used an olive oil mist), sprinkled with steak seasoning (salt, garlic, onion, black pepper), spread them out, baked for 5 mintues at 450 degrees... then turned the pans, lowered the oven to 350 and baked another 3-5 minutes. AMAZING! They are crunchy and brown and are hitting my potato-chip craving. DELICIOUS, and all for under 100 calories.

Let me know how that goes! All the recipes I've seen on the web recommended the dehydrator, but I don't have one so I had to improvise. Wondering if it's worth buying one. Hope you enjoy!

I would think they'd go soggy but try it out and save a few for the next day and let us know.
  • I have tried this with sweet potato, but never zucchini. Sounds good!
  • Yummy, thanks :)

Yum! And easy to do variations, too..

We have made little zucchini pizzas by adding some fresh basil, tomatoes, and "light" cheese, but the chip/crunchy factor on this one sounds much better!

These sound fantastic. When you say you turned the pan though, did you just turn the pan around, or did you really flip over the zuchinni?

Oh wow! I love zucchini, and I love crunchy things. I'll have to try this! I wonder how long they would keep if I made a big batch?
