    1 stone = 14 pounds

    So 10.5 stone = ((14 x 10) + 5) = 145 pounds

    1 stone = 14 pounds

    So 10.5 stone = ((14 x 10) + 5) = 145 pounds

    I'm confused too. Wouldn't the .5 be 7lb being half a stone?

Yup, somebody's math was off. 10.5 stone would be 147 pounds. The equation is 14*10.5= 147

    just google a weight converter

Google it self actually works as a converter too. Just google "1 stone to lbs", for example, and you'll get "1 stone = 14 pounds".
    Pretty neat!

I understood what you meant...the .5 meaning 5lbs, I do that too  xx

Hmm I have had big problems with this - I downloaded the convertor app but it was taking 12st 13 as 12.13 12st 1.3 of a lb. Having a quick look at this page, I think using a calculator and multiplying the stones by 14 & adding the pounds is the safest!! I have had to backfill my weights today because it congratulated me on losing a stone, when i had only lost 6lbs!
