Grilled Romaine

Anyone else a fan? Wow.. I drizzled romaine heads that I halved with olive oil and lemon juice and sprinkled them with Mediterranean seasoning. I threw them on the grill to get a little char and chopped up for a salad. It was amazingly easy and wonderfully delicious.

Yes it wilts a little and softens some but it also chars a lil and if you love that grilled taste its amazing. It seems to satisfy me more than just a salad.... add a grilled portabella mushroom and now ya got something!0

Yes! I buy a 3 pack of romaine lettuce and half them drizzle them grill them and devour them... well not all of them, I share0

I've always wanted to try that. I assume you need to consume it all after you grill it? I'm the only one in my fam that would eat it0

Yeah, you gotta eat it right from the grill, I don't think it would keep well. You can either use the outside leaves for tuna/egg/chicken salad or just grill half.0

I do it when lettuce starts to Wilt. Saves money and is delicious.0
