Zumba World Party & 30 Day Shred

So I've gotten to the point where I'm doing a full hour class on Zumba and have been doing about 4 additional songs after. To increase my workout intensity I'm starting the 30 day shred. The plan is to cut Zumba back to the 40 min. class and finish with the shred. Has anyone else done this? What length Zumba class worked well for you while starting the shred?

Guess no one else has done both. My verdict after day 1, level 1 of Shred following a 50 min. Zumba session is that I should have kept it at 40 or maybe even 30 with the Zumba. Whew! My bum and my thighs are burning! Felt ready to keel over by the time I muscled my way through the shred. Hopefully the results will be worth it!0

I'll be starting Zumba soon, but I don't know how it would work with a shred. I'd say keep people posted of the results.0

After 4 days of the shred, I'm glad for the Zumba. The Zumba is a great warm up for the shred. My muscles have been a bit stiff and sore in the mornings, but they feel good by the time I finish the Zumba. The 40 min. Zumba session seems to be the right length to go with the shred, at least for now.0
