I had mentioned to my MIL that I had lost 5 lbs so far and she said that she noticed my face looking thinner! Not too much a change but still, that sounds like progress to me! Ill take it5

This saturday I went throuh my clothes and everything too big had to go.
Two black 90 litre bags made their way to charity  :blushing: :bigsmile:4 -
I ran 50km yesterday! It was my longest distance ever and I actually felt great by the end. Two years ago I struggled to walk up 2 flights of stairs.
Wow that's impressive! I just started running a month ago and am up to about 7km, don't think i'll ever have enough training time to make 50! Great work.
Wow that's actually pretty incredible that you only started a month ago and already up to 7km! Keep it up!3 -
My fiancé doesn't like laying his head on my chest now because it's getting 'too bony'.4

I rocked a bikini at the beach yesterday and noticed that I'm getting a little "vee" in my lower abs near the top of my hips. I thought only guys got that. Not bad for 43!5

Last week while pushing my daughter's stroller around the neighborhood. I told her we'd stop at the park to play. We played hard.**** I kept up with a two year old*** shouting "Come on Mommy!" At 41yrs old I was climbing and doing the slides. When our son (soon to be 16 was little I couldn't do that.)
Went back the next evening. My leg's were sore for the next 3 days. LOL5 -
Over the weekend I attempted to give my preschool-aged daughter a piggy-back ride. I couldn't do it.
My back is again is to wide.

I didn't stop for fast food this morning. Instead, I was late on purpose because I decided to stop at the grocery store to get oatmeal instead of being on time by stopping at McDonalds. BIG Victory for me!5

Got my test results back and after 6 months of eating better my cholesterol levels changed so much that most are right where they need to be. Officially do NOT have to go on meds, and got a "good job, keep it up" from my doc.4

I have been having a bad few weeks, this thread has cheered me up no end! My NSV is that the other day I was asked to stay late at work for something and I said I already had a commitment. My commitment was that I have promised myself I will ALWAYS run on a Wednesday after work. Before now I would have just ditched my commitment to myself and stayed at work.4

I grabbed the first pair of jeans I could reach in the closet, and comfortably put them on.
What I didn't know is that they were a pair of size 7 juniors skinny jeans from a handful of years back.

30 days in, my belt is two notches tighter and I'm wearing some clothes again that I'd been avoiding the last several months, including the shirt I've got on right now. I started walking, then "walgging", and last weekend ran the first mile out of three without slowing to a walk once. My pace has improved every time, and when hip trouble kicked in, I un-retired my bicycle rather than using the excuse, and last night rode 10 miles despite the temperature being low triple digits. Next opportunity is this weekend, running Warrior Dash with my cousin who is fit and less than half my age. :-D2

When I walked naked to my bathroom this morning, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror...and was happy that the amount of jiggling has decreased dramatically.

1) This morning my boyfriend really went on and on about how great I looked (I guess he's getting used to seeing me in my workout attire since I change clothes as soon as I get home into my work out clothes.) So I was putting on my business attire. He was all like "You even match! I love your new shoes with that!" Very sweet of him.
2) Also, I was out walking on campus on my afternoon break and a really good looking dude rolled down his window and hollered at me "What's up?!" Normally this would be offensive, and at first it was. But when you go from getting hollered at ALL THE TIME to years of not being noticed at all, your first holler can actually be kind of exciting. Then he hit the block and drove back by! I realize that's creepy and stalker-ish, but part of me is glowing and thinks this is definitely a sign that I still got it!5
