Whats a good TDEE for my height and weight?

What calculator does everyone use? I've used 3 different ones via google searches and have yielded 3 different numbers. Including MFP's number seems high as well.

I am 5 foot 11 inches and 365 pounds.

MFP gives me 3750, another gives me 2900 and another 3400. Thoughts?

TDEE calculators give estimates based on your stats, you need to go with one number and adjust after a month or so based on your results and experience. i would go with the average of the three for now

They're all just estimates, and weight loss takes a whole lot of trial & error to find what works for you.

So follow your MFP calorie goal for several weeks, then reevaluate.

A lot of these are going to be just estimates. Accurately measuring your food and body weight. And then doing the math after 4-6 weeks is the most reliable way to figure it out. Why not just average the three (so 3350) and just go with that as an assumption for now.

Then if your "real" TDEE is something you're interested in, you could do something like this. Eat 2200 calories (on average) per day for 45 days. You "should" lose 14.8 lbs. If you ate on average 2200 and instead you lost 16 lbs, then you know that your TDEE is about 90 calories higher. So you can tweak from there, starting a new 45 day period with more accurate info using the calculator that was closest to 3440 (which was your "actual" TDEE, if your calculations and measurements are accurate). But now you weigh less! But you know to use that calculator that was closest to your experiences.
