Hi! I am 37 and a busy mom of six. Since I have children with special needs (Autism), I don't really get out much. Almost two years ago, I had a gallbladder removal and this resulted in a nightmare. My liver was injured during the removal, and I ended up in the hospital and almost died. This was quite the dark valley for me, as it lasted almost 5 months, before I had a surgery to repair my injury. I was so grateful to be alive! I had lost several pounds due to my illness. BUT, I slowly gained it back. Nobody tells you how hard it is to exercise when you've had organs rearranged and develop chronic issues due to it. I became very sad. At this point, I weigh 247 pounds. Once upon a time in my life, I was in pageants, and was a professional singer. And, while marriage and motherhood is rewarding, I find myself wanting this for ME. Consequently, my husband and myself have embarked on this voyage! We are both very excited. If you've read this far, thank you so much! I wish you all much courage and strength on your fitness paths!

And it only took you 2 years to get here? That is amazing. Practically miraculous. I'm so happy you are here. Welcome!:flowerforyou:
