I like to listen to Lecrae, anything upbeat and Christ centered.

This AM it was "80's Disco hits" file on the 'puter for the run..... The chipmunks cover of "Play That Funky Music" got me giggling so I had to skip it.

    Tiesto!!!
Techno realy helps me get into a fast pace. The music has (usualy) realy upbeat songs so I tend to work hard to keep with the beats. There is just something about techno music that seems happy and encouraging to me.
  • DJ Tiesto for me too believe it or not!!!
Techno music makes me feel like I can walk or run forever......

I generally prefer hard rock, glam, and the classic hair metal type of stuff. Gets me moving!

This AM run was 80's disco hits:
XTina and Pink's cover of "Lady Marmalade"
    "Brick House"
    "Knock on Wood"
    "Dazz"
  • Songs that get me motivated:

Meet the Monster: Five finger death punch
High tide or no tide: Evergreen Terrace
Laid to rest: Lamb of god
Black gold reign: All shall perish
    Two weeks: All that remains
    Redneck: Lamb of god
    Over and under: Egypt Central

I listen to a lot of metal and hardcore when I work out....nothing makes me push through those last few minutes like some lamb of god screaming in my ears. :)

  • I created a playlist of classic rock that has a good beat for running, (since I only listen when I run). When I do my boot camp, I cant listen cause I need to pay attention to the trainers.
  • Nothing but metal - if I'm running or lifting it's always hard rock / heavy metal. Disturbed, Hinder, FFDP, Avenged Sevenfold and more... I enjoy running those obstacle courses and taking a music player of any sort is bad idea as you spend a lot of time submerged but when training it's metal mania...

I have learned I tend to move slower when watching tv but when I am listening to music I work out harder and faster. Plus the time goes quicker! I listen to a mix of music

    Lady Ga Ga
    Black Eyed Peas
    Katy Perry
    Ke$ha
    Rammstein
    Static-X
    White Zombie
    Apocolyptica
    Slipknot
    System of a Down
  • I All ways listen to avenged sevenfold, august burns red, attack attack, and stuff like that especially a day to remember!!
  • FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH IS SICK
