    Fallout - Marianas Trench

    It's definitely not a pick-me-up, but it's got a quicker tempo.

Omg to the OP I thought I was the only who did this lol. Sometimes I just love laying in bed with my ipod on loud and a bit of sad music that I can relate to.
    I like:
    Goo goo dolls - Iris
Christina Aguilera - Hurt. Walk away. Soar and infact just the majority of her music.
    Destiny's Child - Emotions
    Beyonce - Listen
Little Mix - little me and Change your life
The Script - For the first time, break even and hall of fame.
    To name a few :)

Well, it's hard to do sad in lieu of bittersweet, but. . .

Thousand Foot Krutch - "Look Away"
    Bleach - "Rundown Town"

And, well, c'mon: Samuel Barber - Adagio For Strings. . . (or if you like the choral version: "Agnus Dei")

Bach's Aria in G is also somewhat sad-ish

It's nice to know other people have their 'sad music' playlist too. lol. I see a lot of songs I have as well.

All Out of Love - Air Supply
Against All Odds - Phil Collins, though mariah carey has a nice cover
    Almost - Tamia

but I have to say, the 80s/90s covers this playlist very well. lol

Ah there's nothing like a bit of catharsis and music is excellent for it! :)

    My top 5:

    Iris - Goo Goo Dolls
    Hurt - Johnny Cash
I Will Follow You Into the Dark - Death Cab For Cutie
Waiting For My Real Life to Begin - Colin Hay
    Colorblind - Counting Crows
