I am 3 weeks in and have lost 9 lbs. Have about 75 to go. I tried everything, EVERYTHING, and nothing made a dent due to health issues. If you've seen the movie Erin Brocovich, than you know my childhood story. Hysterectomy at 32, bad thyroid, PCOS, ect. After the docs started telling me it was hopeless and I should go for gastric bypass surgery I didn't know what to do. I googled "gastric bypass diet without the surgery" and found LCHF (low carb high fat) diet that was for people with a metabolic disorder. I fit the profile,so I thought I would give it a shot. 9 lbs in three weeks is more than I lost eating perfectly and living at the gym in a year! My fitness Pal makes tracking so effortless. Just scan bar code and move on, and I was able to set the carb, fat, protein goals to suit my special diet. I just can't say enough.
I have hope!0 -
You can look at my profile photos... I only have one picture of my former self sadly, the one with the funky hairstyle. (My sister has a grand sense of humor for giving me that...Lol)0

<-- Profile photo. They are a year apart, but I didn't start trying to lose weight until about 4 months after the "before" pic. Between the two is 30 pounds and 10.5% body fat! Still have 20 more to go.0

I'm 26 in the first phot and 40 in the last 2...
Then I got pregnant on top of already being heavy. I stopped smoking, drinking and taking anti-depressants. I only gained about 10 pounds because I started paying attention to what I ate. Top weight 196 pounds.
Now I'm working to lower BF and sit around 111...
