    Pearl Jam
I can't pick a favorite date without thinking too much. I've seen 20+ PJ shows.
The Grateful Dead. Soldier Field July 8-9, 1995. Yeah, I was there for the end of the long strange trip.
But one of my favorites, and a little trivia for everyone, July 11, 1995 PJ played at Soldier Field on the GD stage with the Dead's sound system. Eddie commented about picking up joints still on the stage. So, the last concert on a GD stage was actually by PJ.

I want so very badly to see Pearl Jam... They only came to Halifax once before I think.... They are on my bucket list of bands I need to see... I crossed Primus off this summer, so... fingers crossed!

    This one is tough!

If I had to choose, it'd probably be either Pearl Jam in 2002 or Staind in 2001. Both shows were incredible and worth every penny out of my poor college student budget. :drinker:

Last year, just before Finals, the very talented Casting Crowns came to us in Lubbock, TX, to promote their latest project, Thrive (and play all of their standbys). in the process, they managed to remove all of my pre-test stress! The night was perfect, except that fans didn't get to meet the band like some concerts allow.

    It's a toss-up between:
    - U2 on the Joshua Tree Tour (September 1987) at RFK Stadium
    - Pearl Jam on the Versus Tour (April 1994) at the Patriot Center

Been to many other good shows (to include those below), but none come CLOSE to these two....

    Iron Maiden (December 1986)
    Genesis (May 1987)
    Pink Floyd (November 1987)
    Pink Floyd (May 1988)
    Robert Plant (June 1988)
    GN'R (December 1991)
    Faith No More/Metallica/GN'R (Summer 1992)
    Rush (Mid-1990s, multiple times)
    Creed (May 2000)
    Matchbox 20 (Fall 2003)
    Barenaked Ladies (Spring 2004)
    AC/DC (May 2009)
    Sister Hazel (multiple times)

It was a small venue, and they hardly ever tour the US so I was lucky I caught the show.
