I'm looking for new friends that are looking to lose around 60 pounds by the end of the year. I'm wanting to do it to get back to a healthy weight and not feel so tired all the time. My biggest thing is not making excuses to not work out. I'm planning on going back to Planet Fitness again to start toning my body and etc. Another thing I have trouble with is sweets and soda I was doing so well by not drinking a soda and I accidently had one the other day and I felt awful and was mad ay myself. Anyway please feel free to add me as a friend and I'll do the same back and I know we can make this happen adn lose this 60 pounds I have to lose.

At your size, a healthy loss is no more than 1.5 lbs. per week. And it will slow the closer you get to goal. That's just the way the human body works.
But you can lose at least half of 60 lbs. in the next 24 weeks. Read the Sexypants post: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1080242-a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants0 -

^ This.
Your current goal would require you to lose over 2.5 lbs a week... Not saying it can't be done, but would it be health and maintainable?
Good luck! I check in daily if you'd like to add me.0 -
I'm 20-30 pounds from my goal and the weight loss has slowed waaaaaay down, so my goal is the last 20-30 by the end of the year. Feel free to add me!0

IF ever there was a story of my life, it sounds like yours! I need to lose 60 LBS IT WOULD be nice to lose it by the end of the year But as long as I lose it! I am a sweet freak, not so much soda, but sugar. It is not easy, just take one day at a time.
Don't get mad if u slip tell your self u will succeed the next day. We all slip not and then, just buckle down. I would like to follow your journey, and wish you the best of luck and discipline.0 -

OP...first of all...I disagree with some of the others. I think that you can safely lose 2lbs a week to start with. Eventually you will have to decrease that to 1.5lbs a week and at some point 1lb a week. Losing 60lbs in 5 1/2 months is most likely is a bit aggressive.
Also...how do you "accidentally" drink a soda??? Not that there is anything wrong with drinking one if you want it...I have at least one diet soda...sometimes 2...every day. One thing that I have learned...you have to take responsibility for the choices that you make...it is never an accident...it is a choice.
You don't become overweight by "accident". You gain weight by the choices that you make in your diet. Neither will you lose weight "accidentally"...you will only lose by the choices that you make.
You don't have to lose 60lbs by the end of the year in order to start regaining your health. I have lost 80lbs in 11 months...brought my blood pressure down from stage 2 (stroke level) down to 126/75 (without medication). I have gone from struggling to walk around the block to now walking 4 to 5 miles a day...hiking rough terrain...plus doing some strength training. All of this and I still have 15 to 20 pounds to lose. It will probably take me to the end of the year to reach that goal.
Good luck...0
