A whole load of allergies

Hi all,
I've just joined this fitness community and am so excited about getting on with the challenge of getting fit and healthy. I do have some obstacles that I'd like some help with. Recently I was found to have allergies. Not like dust or grass but food allergies such as dairy, gluten and starch...literally I am allergic to dairy, gluten and starch! My diet consists of protein and any fruit, nuts and vegetables with less than 8gms of carbs per 100gms.
I read my little calorie break down and my diet is to be largely carbohydrates, which, if I followed would result in me getting migraines, and all sorts of intestinal pains and complications with the end result being me very ill indeed. So here is my food and nutrition dilemma; how do I maintain a healthy diet and lose weight with my allergies and how much exercise am I supposed to do to best maximise the weight lose when I don't eat carbs?

All help, suggestions and food recipes greatly appreciated.

I think it may be best for you to speak to your diet or a nutritionalist.

I also have food allergies- granted not as many as you (poor thing), I would say to put your health first, it doesnt sound like you have a bad diet anyway, maybe just reduce so you are eating at a calorie deficit?

Anyway, still maybe best to ask your doc before drastically changing anything?

PS I suggest weight training for the exercise. Burn fat and build muscle/tone. Perfect.

I agree with contacting a professional to sort out exactly what to eat. The macros and other setting on this site can be customized to your needs. The carbohydrate % given can be changed to suit you individual needs. Good luck.

I have the same issues. I reset my macros, going higher on protein and fat, lower on carbs.

The settings in MFP can be modified. Do what works for you.
Eat your protein, fruit, nuts, and low carb vegetables. Check with your health professional -- probably you can add oils and fats.
