the feel of my pony tail slapping my neck.
watching the scenery go by me.
looking down and seeing my muscular thighs (vain I know, but I freaking love it).
the white haired, older lady with the great calves who passed me yesterday.
seeing the end of the fence where I stashed my stuff an hour earlier.

singing and sometimes even praying. Feeling my blood pump and the sweat dripping down my face. I love knowing that while I am muscular and stocky built, I can out run most people.0
-
moving my feet to the heavy beat of a song off my running play list
That moment around kilometer 2 where I actually start to enjoy the run.
that moment at what I thought was the end of my run when I realize I want to keep running (so I do)
The inner peace that comes from challenging myself and winning.
The endorphins!0 -
I love getting home, whacking on the tv and eating a chinese takeaway0

^^ no doubt,
I love these responses! I'm off to run the beach and think of more ....0 -
Thinkng about what matters, seeing older couples walking and hoping I will be able to do the same when I am there age,and I love listening to my breath...I also get the most amazing ideas when I run!0
-
I love the fact that a year ago I said to myself..'in a year I will be able to run more than 5 minutes at a time, that I will enjoy the run not for exercise but for the actual run, that I will be able to just start running in a random direction because I haven't run that direction yet.
A year later when I run, I love....the run.0 -
the knowing nod/smile from other runners as we pass each other
hill running!
the 'is she crazy?!' looks from people passing by in cars when i'm running in the rain and drenched

the refreshment of a post run shower!0 -
I love that I can run period. I have been smoke free for 2 years now and I never thought I would be able to even run to the mailbox.
I have lost nearly 60lbs and enjoy running the most. I love the alone time to just clear my head, the feeling after, the effects on my body, I love the "i dont know how you do it" comments i get, I love challenging myself to beat my own time/record, feeling energized for the rest of the day, being able to eat what I want and not feel guilty.0 -
-I love being alone.
-I just started running 10 weeks ago, so I love when I check my time and I think "I only have 5 minutes left, that's easy" when a few weeks ago I was thinking "holy crap, how am I going to manage running 5 minutes without stopping, I can barely do 3".
-I love the tired but energized feeling I have when I stumble in the door at the end of a hard run.0 -
i love the high i get from running....
i love my runkeeper app telling me that i just passed a personal best or set a new personal time.0 -
that post-long run afternoon nap that tells me I pushed it farther than I have before.0
-
I just started back in last week so um, yeah there's that. But getting back to my front door and downing my water sitting there has been the greatest feeling in the world.0
-
- My dog running at my heels, or occasionally straying from me to wander over a hill, but always coming back
- The "me" time
- The sun on the mountains
- Increasing the time I can run continuously
- The fact that I can think about anything0 -
I love ....
the peace
alone time
sweat dripping off my body
rhythmic breathing
beautiful landscaping
the smells of the outdoors ... the flowers in yards, the bbq dinner cooking in the backyard

Watching the younger fitter girls running along, and trying to keep up with some of them long enough for the bunda show.0 -
- The initial "not sure if I want to do this today" feeling that quickly turns into "I wonder how far I can get until I feel like I'm going to fall over" feeling
- Increasing my speed
- Increasing my continuous running distance
- When I'm at the end of my run and I want to keep going
- The breeze, the sun
- The extra push I feel to go faster, or improve my form when I go by cars or other people on trails
- Of course, the hot shower and large meal afterward0 -
Running is for criminals. ;-)0
-
The trees overhead.
The freedom of movement.
The sense of accomplishment.
Yeah, those things.0 -
- the fact that I can run
- wondering if I am going to hit a PB (I did today  )
- the sweat rolling down into my sports bra (I know how that sounds but I just do. Feels like job well done).
- the achy calves afterwards
- the me time
- the sudden rush of adrenaline
Just so many things!0 -
I love the point where you zone out and you forget you're running and just really into your music.0
-
I love the feeling of accomplishment when I get done running
I love the funny tingly feeling of sweat beads rolling down my face and neck
I love the way my daughter looks at me when I get home and says "you did a great job today mom"
I love when my daughter goes running/walking with me and we laugh and talk, enjoying each others company
I love the "ok mom, I'll race you to....." Loser makes dinner!!
I love knowing in the morning I will be in pain but it will all be worth it the next day!0 -
- alone time
- my awesome playlist
- the feeling when you finished a run (without walking) that you really had to talk yourself into
- sweating! (it's fat crying)
- the fact that I can do it... not matter how fast, I can run!
- the sunrise on early morning runs
so many more..........0 -
I love being able to get out and just RUN0
-
- thinking about where I started. Whenever I don't think I can finish that mile number 10, I think about the first run I ever did when I couldn't make to the 300 feet to our mailbox and cried as I walked back to our house. I decided that day that I never wanted to feel like that again.
- that I CAN run. I had some health problems shortly after I started running that almost took it away from me. I don't take it for granted.0 -
When I run, I love when I finish! LOL!
I really love the feeling of accomplishment after a long run! I never thought I'd be where I am at today with running.0 -
-how when I look down at the garmin, Im sometimes running at a much quicker pace then intended but Im not feeling it.
-how in one mile I can feel absolute misery and the next like im floating on air.
-when I beak any PR0 -
I started quoting responses I loved, and I realized I love them all (except the rude one).
Just finished a beach run, and I loooooooooove coming to the end of my run when I am hot, my hair is wet & curly from sweat, and I just flop into the water and let a wave break on my backside. Sheer Heaven.0 -
being alone
letting my mind wander or just listen to my music instead of thinking
when I realize I'm over 4 miles
I see I ran under an 11 min pace
watching a great sunrise
the sweat running down my face
that my thighs no longer rub together like they want to start a fire!0
