  • I first tried this soup at UAB. It is awesome if it is the same recipe. I have transferred to a hospital in Montgomery and have begged for them to offer this soup . I'm so glad you posted this recipe and I will definately try it!

    I have never tried Gouda, but this sounds delish! I will definitely have to try this. I wonder, would it be just as good if you didn't puree it and left it chunky?

    You can certainly leave it chunky if that's your preference, which will look more like this:
